What happens when a man’s nostalgic trip down memory lane unearths a primal fear? Efrain and his loyal dog, Scarlet, begin unpacking for Halloween in the unrenovated basement. While unpacking, Efrain discovers an unsettling relic from his childhood: an old, corrupted VHS tape. Driven by curiosity, he plays the tape, only to be met with dark static and faint, whispered voices. But the darkness isn't confined to the screen. When Scarlet fixates on the distorted images, a malevolent entity uses the dog as a conduit, quickly turning Efrain’s best friend into a source of dread.
